Innovative Programmes / Curriculum
The curriculum content of CCE is based on the three big ideas of Identity, Relationships, and Choices, and comprises the teaching and learning of core values and social-emotional competencies with a focus on developing a sense of purpose in our students. CCE Curriculum Content Areas include:
-
National Education (NE): nurture engaged citizens, who are socially aware, adept at critical thinking, and informed about local, regional, and global issues
-
Sexuality Education (SEd): allow students to understand the physiological, social, and emotional changes they experience as they mature and to develop healthy and rewarding relationships
-
Mental Health (MH): strengthen students’ resilience and wellbeing to cope with life’s situations, relate to others and contribute to the community
-
Education and Career Guidance (ECG): allow students to explore their strengths and abilities to prepare themselves for the 21st Century, make informed decisions at each key education stage and aspire towards lifelong learning
-
Cyberwellness (CW): to equip students with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of ICT for positive purposes and be safe and responsible users of ICT
